Roofing Services
Ten services, Juan on every roof. JM Roofing LLC works from Pomona Park across Putnam County and out to Jacksonville, Daytona Beach, Ocala and Lake City.

Metal Roofing
The roof most of our customers ask for and the one Juan has spent most of his nearly 20 years building. We are a factory trained installer for Tri County Metals, the Florida manufacturer, and we install their standing seam, 5V and Ultra Rib panels with Florida Product Approvals in the color you choose. Standing seam for a clean hidden-fastener look, 5V for the classic Florida crimp roof.

Roof Replacement
When the roof is done, it comes off to the deck. We check and re-nail the decking to the Florida Building Code, replace anything soft, lay peel-and-stick or synthetic underlayment, set drip edge and flashing, and put on metal or shingle. You get the scope in writing before we start, and the yard is clean when we leave.

Roof Repair
Most roofs do not need replacing; they need one thing fixed. A cracked pipe boot, a loose panel, lifted shingles after a windy night, chimney or wall flashing that gave up. Juan finds the problem, fixes that, and leaves the rest of the roof alone. If a repair is enough, that is what you get quoted.

Roof Leak Repair and Detection
A stain on the ceiling is rarely under the hole in the roof. Water runs along rafters, underlayment and wiring before it drips, so the job is tracing it back to where it enters. Juan follows the water, fixes the source, and if the rain is already coming in, tarps the roof first so the ceiling stops getting worse.

Roof Inspections
A written look at the roof, with photos, for a home purchase, an insurance renewal, a wind mitigation or 4-point request, or just because nobody has been up there in years. Many insurers are asking hard questions about older shingle roofs, and an inspection tells you where you stand before they do, in writing you can hand to an agent.

Storm Damage Restoration
After tropical wind or hail, we tarp what needs tarping, photograph the damage, and repair or replace what the storm took. We also help with the insurance claim: documenting the roof, meeting the adjuster, and explaining the scope in plain terms. We do not promise what the insurer will pay, and we will not touch your deductible.

Asphalt Shingle Roofing
Shingle is still the right call for plenty of houses and budgets, and we build it to last in Florida sun: peel-and-stick underlayment, proper drip edge, hip and ridge, and ventilation that lets the attic breathe through August. When shingle is the better fit for your house and budget, Juan says so and prices it that way.

Residential Roofing
Block-and-stucco houses from the 1970s on, older frame and brick homes in the historic cores, manufactured homes out in the county, and the newer subdivisions with pool cages up against the eaves. Each one gets a different approach to flashing, venting and staging, and Juan has roofed all of them, from the historic cores to the newest subdivisions.

Commercial Roofing
Storefront strips, shops, barns and agricultural buildings, in metal or single ply. We schedule around your hours so the doors stay open, and we keep the work tidy on a lot with customers coming and going. Tri County Metals' PBR and MS-LOK panels are made for exactly this kind of building, and TPO handles the flat decks.

TPO and Single Ply Roofing
Flat and low-slope decks get a heat-welded TPO membrane, with tapered insulation where water ponds and proper terminations at every edge and penetration. The old site called this flat roof systems; the material and the method are the same. It suits small commercial decks, carports, porch roofs and the flat sections on some houses.

Call and describe what you see. A drip means leak detection. A storm last night means storm damage. An insurance letter means an inspection. Shingles in the yard on an older roof probably means replacement, and Juan will say whether metal or shingle makes sense. Financing is there if you want it.
Juan comes out, looks at the roof, and gives you a written estimate. Tell Tania what you are seeing and where the house is when you call (386) 559-2169, and she will set a time. If you have another contractor's quote, bring it and Juan will walk through it with you.
Start with metal roofing. A re-cover over one layer of shingles is possible where the deck is sound and the Florida Building Code allows it. Juan checks the decking first; if it is soft or there are two layers, it becomes a roof replacement with a full tear-off.
Yes. Small commercial is a regular part of the week: storefront strips, shops, barns and agricultural buildings in metal, and flat decks in TPO. The commercial roofing and TPO and single ply roofing pages cover both. Houses are still most of what we do.
